Respiratory  Chinese medicine can be very helpful in treating many respiratory conditions, including asthma, colds and flu,  low immunity, cough, sinusitis, allergies, and chronic bronchitis.

Emotional and Psychological  Many people find that Chinese medicine offers relief from stress, stress-induced insomnia, grief, anxiety and depression. In some cases she  will recommend that you also see a mental health care practitioner.

Digestive  Chinese medicine's holistic approach is important in resolving digestive issues. Christina is experienced in treating stomach issues such as reflux, heartburn and nausea. Bowel dysfunctions such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, hemorrhoids,  and diarrhea also respond well.  Christina has seen good success helping individuals with crones disease,  colitis, leaky gut, and yeast overgrowth.

Dermatology  Skin problems such as eczema, hives, and acne often respond well to acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Psoriasis, and  herpes,   are also treated at our clinic.

Sleep disturbances  Recent studies have shown that Chinese medicine is a safe, effective, and side-effect-free treatment for insomnia and somnolence.

Urological Problems  Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture are often used to treat frequent urination, nocturia,  prostatitis, and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Cancer  Christina does not specialize in cancer treatment, but does have extensive experience in alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy: nausea, poor appetite and drug-induced hot flashes respond well to treatment. She  can refer you to acupuncturists in the area who specialize in cancer care.

Chronic Illness  Chinese medicine offers much hope for individuals suffering from a variety of degenerative chronic illnesses. Its holistic approach addresses the cause, as well as the symptoms of long-standing health problems, such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, neuropathy, and diabetes.

Cardiovascular Disease   Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine have a long history of successfully treating hypertension, arrhythmia, heart palpitations, and poor circulation.

Thyroid disorders  Christina has had good success treating hypothyroid,  Hashimotos thyroiditis, and hyperthyroid, particularly when the problem is a more recent onset.

Acute and chronic pain  Modern research has confirmed the usefulness of acupuncture and/or Chinese herbs for treating many different types of pain. Headaches (migraine, tension, sinus, idiopathic), arthritis, back or neck pain, joint pain and acute or chronic muscle strain typically respond well to treatment.
